The New York Botanical Garden x Frida KAHLO

We are looking forward to attending this immersive exhibit at The New York Botanical Garden this summer and thought you might like to join us.  The Enid A. Haupt Conservatory has been reimagined as Frida Kahlo's very own Casa Azul in Mexico.  The NYBG is also offering special performances and activities during the evening in the conservatory.  These evenings al fresco are enhanced with live music, rare works of art and of course music, libation and performance art.  Tickets are available here.

The Floral Studio in Roland Park

Nestled within the stone walls of a charming Tudor home in the sprawling Roland Park neighborhood of Baltimore, I found myself surrounded by all the peonies and charm of a flower company in the throws of Spring wedding season.  The Floral Studio is one sweet little flower company, who has connections to Maryland's finest peony farms and flowers. I've had the opportunity to make pretty bouquets and flowers for a few of their oh-so-pretty weddings this year and keep going back for more. Check out their loveliness and you'll be sure to smile.

Every piece is stunningly sweet and I'm so happy to be working with fellow florists again after a stormy Winter indoors.

Design + Wine Class

For Mother's Day this year I wanted to celebrate doing the things I love to do with my mom. Playing with flowers and relaxing with a glass of rosé top that list for certain. So I collaborated with Crow Farm and Vineyard to offer a special floral design class in their beautiful hay barn followed by a wine tasting of their award winning Maryland wines. 

It was a gorgeous day and we were able to throw open the barn doors and look out across the vineyard while sipping and clipping.  I could not have asked for a more delightful group of women for this inaugural class.  The student work was stunning and I am inspired to continue offering this type of class throughout the year and every year!

After class we all cooled off in the tasting room with some sparkling wine and toasted to our reasons for being - Mom.  Thank you to all the wonderful attendees!
